Our Lower Primary and Harrogate Composite classes will perform The Sword in the Stone - Written specially for Drama Kids the play begins with the question of Who Will Be King? When Arthur can't find Sir Kay's sword he has to look elsewhere...
Our Composite classes will perform Bold Buccaneers - It's a great life being a pirate - except when the crew is too small to do all the work. Luckily they've just hauled a group of shipwrecked sailors aboard.
Our Upper Primary classes will perform Imagine That! - The Tough Kids and Imagination Kids are looking forward to the end of term sleepover at Croft Primary. What is more scary? Special effects? Or imagination?
Our Youth Theatre students will perform either Dress Rehearsal Disaster - New Teacher Fletcher is putting on their first school play and their career depends on it. So why is everything going wrong? Or The Egtved Girl - set half in the present day and half in the Bronze Age. How did the bones of the Egtved Girl found in Denmark by a farmer in 1921 end up 500 miles from where she originated.
After each performance we held our usual Presentation of Medals, Certificates and Achievement Awards which celebrate the effort and all round brilliance of all our students whether they have been with us years, or recently joined the Academy. Everyone deserves and receives recognition.
